About
The SDEF India Scholarship Program, offered by the Swami Dayanand Education Foundation, provides financial assistance to academically bright yet economically disadvantaged students across India. This initiative targets first-year students pursuing full-time professional undergraduate degrees, helping ease the financial pressures on their families. The primary goal is to empower these students to complete their higher education through renewable annual funding.

Benefits

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be enrolled as a first-year full-time undergraduate student in an eligible professional programme in India for the 2026тАУ27 academic year
- Must be enrolled in one of the eligible programmes: Engineering & Technology (B.Tech./B.E.), Medicine (MBBS), Dentistry (BDS), Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing/B.Nursing), Pharmacy (B.Pharm./Pharm.D), Architecture (B.Arch.), or Veterinary Science (BVSc & AH)
- Must have secured a minimum of 80% marks or equivalent CGPA in the Class XII Board Examination
- Must not have taken a drop or gap year after Class XII
- Must meet the applicable national entrance examination requirements: JEE Main (AIR 50,000 or below), JEE Advanced (AIR 40,000 or below), NEET UG (AIR 50,000 or below), NATA (minimum 100 marks), or qualified relevant recognized entrance exams for other programs
- Must have an annual family income of тВ╣12,00,000 or less from all sources
- Must be willing to participate in aptitude assessments and other selection stages if shortlisted
