The LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation offers this scholarship scheme to support meritorious students from economically weaker sections who wish to pursue higher studies. The primary objective is to provide financial assistance to eligible candidates, thereby enhancing their opportunities for higher education and future employment. The scheme targets students entering intermediate, vocational, ITI, or undergraduate courses after completing Class 10 or Class 12/Diploma.

Benefits :
- General Scholarship (Medicine): Rs. 50,000/- per annum, payable in two instalments of Rs. 25,000/- each.
- General Scholarship (Engineering): Rs. 40,000/- per annum, payable in two instalments of Rs. 20,000/- each.
- General Scholarship (Graduation, Integrated Courses, Diploma, Vocational, ITIs): Rs. 20,000/- per annum, payable in two instalments of Rs. 10,000/- each.
- Special Scholarship (Intermediate/10+2/Vocational/Diploma/ITI after Class 10): Rs. 15,000/- per annum, payable in two instalments of Rs. 7,500/- each.
- Financial assistance is provided for the entire duration of the course, excluding any internship or stipendiary periods.
Eligible Courses :
- Medicine (MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BDS)┬а
- Engineering (BE, BTECH, BArch)┬а
- Graduation in any discipline, Integrated Courses┬а
- Diploma Course in any field or other equivalent courses┬а
- Vocational Courses through Government recognized Colleges /Institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs)
Eligibility Criteria :
- For General Scholarship: Candidates must have passed Class 12th or its equivalent (or Diploma) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in the Academic Year 2023-24, 2024-25, or 2025-26, and must have taken admission in the academic year 2026-27 for pursuing a regular first-year degree/diploma/vocational/ITI course.
- For Special Scholarship: Candidates must have passed Class 10th or its equivalent with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in the Academic Year 2023-24, 2024-25, or 2025-26, and must have taken admission in the academic year 2026-27 for pursuing intermediate/10+2 pattern/vocational/diploma/ITI courses.
- The total annual family income of the parents or guardians from all sources must not exceed Rs. 4,50,000/- per annum.
- Candidates who gain lateral entry into the 2nd Year of Engineering or regular admission in the 1st Year of Engineering after completing a Diploma are eligible, provided they passed their Diploma with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in AY 2023-24, 2024-25, or 2025-26.
- Candidates pursuing courses through correspondence, part-time, or open universities are not eligible.
- Candidates undertaking self-study courses such as CA, CS, or ICMAI are not eligible.
Required Documents :
- Copy of cancelled cheque with the name of the beneficiary
- Income certificate issued by a competent Revenue Authority (such as Tehsildar, DM, SDM, Collector, etc.) stating the annual gross income of both parents
- Class X / Class XII / Diploma Mark sheet and Grade card
- E-Aadhar Card Number
- PAN Card
- School Leaving Certificate / College Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate (required if changing institutions during the scholarship tenure)
- Attendance Certificate or Semester Exam Results (for claiming subsequent instalments)
