About the Scholarship :
The Dr. P. M. Thomas Foundation Scholarship is a need-based financial assistance program designed to support academically deserving students from financially weaker sections. The foundation focuses on holistic student development, including academic excellence, personality growth, and strong value systems. Moreover, the scholarship aims to remove financial barriers and empower students to pursue education from Class 8 to postgraduate and doctoral levels.

Scholarship Benefits :
The foundation provides monthly financial assistance based on education level:
1 тВ╣400/month тАУ Class 8 to 10.
2 тВ╣500/month тАУ Class 11тАУ12.
3 тВ╣700/month тАУ Degree courses.
4 тВ╣1000/month тАУ Postgraduate courses.
5 тВ╣1500тАУтВ╣1800/month тАУ Professional courses.
6 тВ╣2000/month тАУ Doctorate programs.
Additionally:
7 Coaching support up to тВ╣15,000 for entrance exams.
8 Financial aid provided as a grant (no repayment required).
Eligibility Criteria :
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Academic Requirements
1 Minimum 70% marks (General students).
2 Minimum 65% marks (SC/ST or differently-abled students).
3 Continuous academic improvement is expected.
Financial Criteria.
1 Family income must fall within defined limits (varies by category).
2 Preference given to economically weaker sections.
Other Conditions
1 Must be studying in a recognized institution.
2 Should not receive any other financial aid.
3 Must actively participate in foundation activities.
Note: Eligibility is currently restricted to students from Kerala.
