About Scholarship :
This scheme is run by the Pune Municipal Corporation to offer financial assistance to students who have successfully cleared their Class 12 examinations. It aims to support students from backward classes, night schools, PMC schools, and those with disabilities to pursue further studies. The primary objective is to enable these beneficiaries to continue their higher education in recognized institutions.

Eligible Courses :
- Any government-recognized or university-approved higher education course after Class 12
Scholarship Benefits :
- Financial assistance up to a maximum of Rs. 25,000 for further education
Eligibility Criteria :
- Must have secured a minimum of 70% marks in Class 12 for backward class, PMC school, or night school students.
- Blind students only need to pass Class 12, with no minimum percentage requirement.
- Students with more than 40% disability must have scored at least 55% marks in Class 12.
- Must have taken admission to a government-recognized or university-approved institution after Class 12.
- Must be a resident of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area for at least the last 3 years.
- Applicants born after May 1, 2001, are ineligible if the addition of the child makes the total number of children in the family more than two.
Required Documents :
- Original scanned copy of the Ration Card (first page and names page) for child count verification.
- Original scanned copy of proof of residence in PMC limits for at least 3 years (any one of: PMC tax receipt for the last 3 years, electricity bill, landline telephone bill, slum photo pass, slum service charge receipt, or registered rent agreement).
- Original scanned copy of Aadhaar Card linked with Bank Passbook.
- Original scanned copy of proof of age (any one of: birth certificate, Sassoon Hospital birth certificate, school leaving certificate, or educational certificate).
- Original scanned copy of Caste Certificate (if applicable for backward class category).
- Original scanned copy of Disability Certificate (for disabled students).
- Original scanned copy of Class 12th Board Marksheet.
- Original scanned copy of College Admission Fee Receipt and Admission Letter.
- Recommendation form from the College Head with all sections completely filled.
