◆ About Scholarship :-
Vidyadhan Scholarship Program from Sarojini Damodaran Foundation supports the college education of meritorious students from economically challenged families. The students are selected after completion of 10th grade /SSLC through a rigorous selection process including test and interview.
◆ Application last date:- 20th August 2021
◆ Scholarship Amounts:-
Scholarship amount for 11th and 12th grade will be a maximum of Rs. 6000/year.
◆ Who Can Apply? :-
1) Students whose family annual income is less than Rs. 2 Lakhs and who have completed their 10th grade/SSC exam in the year 2021 from Maharashtra.
2) Have scored 85% or obtained 8 CGPA in their 10th Grade/SSC examination.
3) The cut off mark for students with disability is 70%.or 7 CGPA
◆ Benefits:-
1) Will be eligible for two year scholarship from the Foundation.
2) If they continue to do well, they will be given scholarship for pursuing any degree course of their interest
3) Eligible student may receive scholarship from Rs 10,000 to Rs 60,000 per year depending on the state, course, duration
◆ Selection Process:-
1) SDF will shortlist the applicants based on the academic performance and the information provided in the application form. This year, due to the covid-19 situation, the shortlisted candidates will be invited for a short online test/interview.
◆ Important Dates:-
1) 20th August 2021: Application last date
2) 10th September 2021: Screening Test
3) 24th September to 24th October 2021: Interview/Tests will be scheduled during this time frame. Exact date and location will be intimated to each of the shortlisted candidates.
◆ Required Documents:-
Scanned copies of the following are required
1) Photograph
2) 10th Marksheet (If original marksheet is not available , you can upload provisional /online marksheet from the SSLC/CBSE/ICSC website.)
3) Income Certificate (from a competent authority; ration card not accepted.)
