About Scholarship :
The IDFC FIRST Bank Engineering Scholarship Program is a need-based financial aid initiative designed to support meritorious students from low-income families in India. The program aims to make higher technical studies accessible to deserving individuals by easing their academic financial burdens. It specifically targets students enrolled in the first year of full-time engineering courses at select institutions.
Last Date of Application : 20 September 2026
Eligible Courses: Undergraduate (B.E. / B.Tech 1st Year)
Scholarship Benefits :
- Financial support of up to INR 4,00,000 for four years of full-time engineering studies (subject to terms and conditions).
- Scholarship amount covers either the fee of one year or INR 1,00,000 per annum, whichever is lower.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Must be an Indian national.
- Must be currently enrolled in the first year of a full-time B.E. / B.Tech degree course.
- Must be enrolled in one of the select eligible engineering colleges in India.
- Household income must be less than INR 6,00,000 per annum.
- Must not have received any other scholarship or tuition fee waiver for the engineering course.
- Candidates pursuing diploma, dual-degree, part-time, distance learning, or exchange programs are not eligible.
- Children of IDFC FIRST Bank employees are not eligible to participate.

- Valid Income Certificate
- College KYC documents (required for vendor empanelment for scholarship disbursal)
- Annual academic marksheets (required for subsequent renewal evaluations)
