● About :
The Vidyadhan Scholarship, an initiative by the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation, supports meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in Telangana to pursue higher education. Established by SD Shibulal (Co-founder and former CEO of Infosys) and Kumari Shibulal in 1999, the foundation aims to transform lives through education.
● Benefits :
Financial assistance ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹70,000 per annum, depending on the course and institution.
● Late Date : June 15, 2025.
● Eligibility Criteria :
1.Completed Class 10/SSC examination in 2025 from a recognized school in Telangana.
2.Scored at least 90% marks or 9 CGPA in Class 10.
3.Annual family income is less than ₹2,00,000.
4.Students with disabilities require a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA.
● Documents Required :
- Recent passport-size photograph.
- Scanned copy of Class 10 marksheet (original or provisional).
3.Income certificate issued by a competent authority (ration cards not accepted). - Disability certificate (if applicable).
● Selection Process :
- Initial screening based on academic performance and financial background.
2.Shortlisted candidates will undergo an online test and interview.
3.Final selection will consider performance in the test/interview and overall eligibility.
