The scholarship program aims to support 5,000 meritorious first-year undergraduate students across India. It is awarded on a merit-cum-means basis to students enrolled in regular full-time degree courses in any stream. The scholarship provides financial assistance of up to ₹2 lakh over the duration of the degree program and offers networking opportunities through a strong alumni network.

Eligibility Criteria
Mandatory:
- Indian citizen residing in India.
- Passed 12th standard with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Currently enrolled in the 1st year (academic year 2025–26) of a regular full-time undergraduate degree course.
- Household income of less than ₹15 lakh per annum (preference given to ≤ ₹2.5 lakh).
5.Completion of the mandatory online aptitude test.
Ineligible:
- Students in 2nd year or higher (enrolled before academic year 2025–26).
- Students pursuing degrees through online, hybrid, remote, or distance modes.
3.Students who have passed a diploma after 10th standard. - Students in 2-year or 6-year undergraduate degree courses.
- Failure to appear for the aptitude test or involvement in cheating during the test.
Documents Required
- Passport-size photograph.
2.Address proof (permanent address).
3.Marksheet of 10th Class Board Examination.
4.Marksheet of 12th Class Board Examination. - Bonafide Student Certificate from the current college/institution of enrolment.
- Bank account details (preferably a cancelled cheque or passbook copy).
Selection Process
- Application Submission: Complete the online application form with personal, academic, and achievement details.
- Aptitude Test: Mandatory online test comprising 60 multiple-choice questions covering verbal ability, analytical and logical ability, and numerical ability.
- Initial Evaluation: Assessment based on aptitude test scores, academic records, and personal information.
- Final Selection: Announcement of up to 5,000 scholars based on merit-cum-means criteria.
Work Expectations
1.Maintain full-time enrolment in the undergraduate program.
- Achieve satisfactory academic progress (pass every academic year).
- Comply with the terms and conditions set forth by the scholarship program.
Additional Notes
- The scholarship is renewable annually, contingent upon meeting academic and program requirements.
- Students can accept other scholarships or awards in conjunction with the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship.
- Applicants must have their own active bank account; accounts of parents or family members are not accepted.
