About:
The scholarship is offered by Federal Bank through its Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation тАФ instituted in memory of its founder, late Shri K. P. Hormis. It aims to provide financial support to meritorious but economically weaker students, particularly those admitted to first-year of certain professional and higher-education courses for academic year 2025-26.
Benefits / Scholarship Support:
Students selected under the scholarship will receive тАФ
100% reimbursement of tuition fees and other educational expenses, subject to a maximum of тВ╣ 1,00,000 per year, during the normal course duration.
2. Financial support for one тАЬPC / Laptop / TabletтАЭ during their course:
Laptop / PC reimbursement up to тВ╣ 40,000.
Tablet reimbursement up to тВ╣ 30,000.
3. All reimbursements (tuition + device support) together must fit within the тВ╣ 1,00,000 per year limit.

The last date for online submission of applications: 31 December 2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicant must satisfy the following
1. Must be admitted in first-year of academic year 2025-26 for one of the eligible courses.
2. Eligible courses:
MBBS
BDS
BVSc
BE / BTech / BArch
B.Sc. Nursing
B.Sc. Agriculture
MBA / PGDM (full time)
3. Must be a native (domicile) of one of the following states: Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu or Telangana.
4. Must have secured admission on merit in a Government / Aided / Government-recognised self-financing / Autonomous college.
5. Annual family income should not exceed тВ╣ 3,00,000.
6. Special categories allowed: Dependent wards of martyred Armed Forces personnel, and students with speech / vision / hearing impairment admitted to eligible courses (or any degree / graduation course in some cases). For them, income criterion may be exempted.
7. Reservation: One seat per discipline is reserved for physically challenged students. If no candidate under this category applies, seat will be used in general category.
Documents Required :
Applicants must submit the following documents while applying (via the online portal)
Passport-size photograph of the student (JPEG, < 500 KB)
2. Admission letter / admission memo for the course for 2025-26.
3. Course fee structure (as per the college)
4. Mark sheets of the qualifying exam (тАК12th for graduation applicants; graduation mark sheet for MBA applicants)
5. For MBA applicants: University instructions regarding CGPA тЖТ percentage conversion.
6. Family income certificate issued by a government authority.
7. Nativity (domicile) certificate.
8. ID proof & address proof of student and parents.
9. For physically challenged / speech/vision/hearing impaired applicants: Medical certificate (disability certificate, showing at least 40% disability, by a Medical Officer or approved Bank Medical Officer).
10. For wards of martyred Armed Forces personnel: Proof of martyrdom (death certificate or relevant official document).
Selection Process:
Applications are shortlisted based on marks in the qualifying examination + family income criteria (for general applicants).
2. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an тАЬinteractionтАЭ (interview/document verification) at the nearest / selected Zonal / Designated Office.
3. Final selection will be made by FHMF / CSR Department of Federal Bank. Decision will be final and binding.
Other Notes / Conditions:
Only one application per student тАФ multiple applications from same applicant will be rejected.
2. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
3. For physically challenged / differently-abled students, medical certificate must show at least 40% disability as per BankтАЩs requirement.
4. If no application is received under physically challenged category, reserved seat(s) will go to general category.
5. The scholarship is for first-year students only (i.e. fresh admissions in 2025-26).
