тЧЖ About scholarship :
Bridge Azad Scholarship is an independent scholarship started in collaboration with Eklavya India foundation for incoming students (first year) at the School of Social Work, TISS Mumbai. Bridge is a student led initiative at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, which aims to strengthen the student aid mechanism of the institute. The initiative raises funds from Alumni, CSRs and other individuals so that lack of financial resources does not prevent student’s academic mobility in any way. The Azad Fund works on expanding the human agency of social leaders through different phases of their journey. The first program under Azad Fund is Azad Scholarship, an educational scholarship program to support exceptional students who are passionate about
solving societal problems.

тЧЖ Scholarship Benefits:
1) Scholarship of upto Rs. 75,000 for academic years between 2023-25
2) Mentorship and connection in the ecosystem for internship and job-related opportunities
3) Higher education guidance
тЧЖ Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship :
1) This scholarship is only available for students of TISS Mumbai Campus
2) First-year student pursuing a Master of Social Work degree. ( Students Who take admission in First year of Master of Social Work course at TISS Mumbai in academic Year 2023-2024 are eligible for scholarship application)
3) Income limit: Rs. 8,00,000 per annum family income
4) All Genders & All Communities Applicants are eligible for scholarship.
тЧЖ Scholarship Selection process
1) Application to the scholarship will be open to candidates who have cleared the interviews
and received an offer for M.A. Social Work course at TISS Mumbai.
2) Virtual interview: Up to ten candidates will be invited for a virtual interview.
