About the Scholarship:
The Aravind Prabhu Law Scholarship is a merit-cum-need based programme offered by the Prabhu Family Charitable Trust to support underprivileged, high-potential students from Karnataka in pursuing their Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree. It is inspired by the life and legacy of Shri Aravind Prabhu, symbolizing resilience, hard work, and the transformative power of education. The Trust emphasizes empowering beneficiaries to тАЬpay it forwardтАЭ and contribute positively to societ.
Scholarship Benefits :

Application Period & Last Date :
The scholarship application window typically opens every year from August to October.
Eligibility Criteria :
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.
- Course Enrollment: Enrolled or enrolling in any year of the LLB degree at a selected law institute in Karnataka (e.g., Chanakya University тАУ Bangalore, JSS Sakri Law College тАУ Hubli, SDM Law College тАУ Mangalore).
- Academic Performance:
- Minimum 60% in Class X & XII board exams.
- Minimum 60% in Undergraduate degree (for those applying post graduation).
- Income Limit: Annual family income should not exceed тВ╣6,00,000 from all sources.
- Renewal Requirement: To continue receiving the scholarship, students must maintain at least 60% each year and submit a fresh application annually.

Applicants should prepare the following supporting documents:
- Completed scholarship application form (PDF/Word).
- Academic transcripts/marksheets (Class X, XII & Graduation).
- Proof of admission/enrollment in the law course.
- Income certificate (family annual income).
- Identity proof (Aadhaar/Passport/Voter ID).
- Passport-size photograph.
- Personal statement on eligibility and career goals
