About Fellowship :
The Sharad Pawar Inspire Fellowship in Agriculture is a flagship initiative of the Yashwantrao Chavan Centre designed to empower young agri-innovators and entrepreneurs in Maharashtra. The program aims to address pressing farming challenges such as low crop yields, post-harvest losses, and climate change through technological innovations. By providing mentorship, capacity building, and financial support, the fellowship equips the selected youth to transform their ideas into scalable, market-ready agricultural solutions.

Fellowship Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a resident of Maharashtra
- Must have a minimum 4-year undergraduate degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Technology, or other professional fields (Completion of degree is mandatory)
- Must be between 22 and 30 years of age (FAQ section notes 18тАУ30 years for general eligibility)
- Mother tongue must be Marathi
- Must work full-time on the innovation or startup during the fellowship
- Must be a startup, innovator, developer, student, or engineer with a prototype, MVP, or early-stage business model

- Reference letters from mentors, teachers, or employers with whom the applicant has worked in a professional or academic capacity
