About Fellowship:
The Yashwantrao Chavan Centre offers the Sharad Pawar Inspire Fellowship in Education [Child Education] to support and empower early childhood educators and grassroot-level workers in Maharashtra. The program aims to promote action research in the field of pre-primary education for children aged three to six, aligning with the goals of the National Education Policy 2020. Selected fellows are provided with financial assistance, professional workshops, and expert mentorship to address educational challenges at the community level.

Fellowship Benefits:
- Annual financial support of тВ╣40,000, disbursed in three installments (typically in September, December, and March) based on progress
- тВ╣20,000 allocated towards workshop training and mentoring sessions
- Expert mentorship on-field and during workshops
- Reimbursement of travel expenses via public transport (ST Bus or Sleeper Class Train) for attending mandatory workshops
- Free lodging and boarding arrangements during training workshops
Eligibility Criteria :
- Must be 45 years of age or below
- Must be currently working in the field of child education (early childhood education) or working for marginalized communities in Maharashtra
- Eligible positions include: Anganwadi Sevika, Anganwadi Helper, Anganwadi Supervisor, Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), teacher or headmaster in aided pre-primary schools, or NGO worker
- Employees of private schools, private preschools, daycares, or independent consultants are not eligible
- Must have working knowledge of the Marathi language
- Unemployed candidates are not eligible to apply
Required Documents :
- Permission letter from the employer/employing organization allowing the candidate to conduct the action research project
- An approval letter from supervisors to be attached at the time of final report submission

Important Note
A total of 10 fellowships will be awarded for the Child Education category. While the project is to be carried out alongside regular work duties, fellows must secure 10 days of leave/availability to attend the mandatory workshops.
