About:
It is a CSR initiative by Muthoot Finance / Muthoot M. George Foundation. – The goal is to support “bright, deserving students from economically weaker sections” in professional courses (MBBS, B.Tech, B.Sc Nursing). Scholarships are given for the full duration of the course (subject to terms).This scholarship is only for the college level students. The courses included in this scholarship scheme are MBBS, B Tech and BSc Nursing.

Benefits / Scholarship Amount:
– For MBBS students: ₹2,40,000 for the full course
– B.Tech Rs. 1,20,000. B.Sc Nursing Rs. 1,20,000
Eligibility Criteria:
– Class 12 (or equivalent) score: 90% or equivalent grade required.
– Annual family income should not exceed ₹2 lakh.
– Must have qualified the relevant entrance examination for MBBS and secured admission in a recognized institution.
– For the 2025-26 edition: candidates from Kerala and major Indian cities (Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata) are eligible.

– Written request for scholarship in English (by the student)
– Recommendation letter from a local VIP / community leader
– Class 12 (+2) mark sheet
– Passport-size photo
– Income certificate
– Proof of college admission, admission allotment, etc.

Selection Process:
